In 2010, CGS started the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DOE) to help students grow into confident and capable individuals. Since then, the program has become a key part of student life at our school.
Starting in Class 8, students take on personal challenges that push them to try new things. Instead of competing with each other, they focus on personal growth. They work on improving their fitness, learning new skills, helping the community, and building leadership qualities. Through hard work and teamwork, they learn to step out of their comfort zones and see what they can truly achieve.
Over the years, our students have shown great energy and dedication at every level of the award. The real value of this journey is not just the award itself, but the life skills they build along the way. They learn to stay strong when things get tough, work well with others, and care about society.
